Last month, the GAMSTOP team attended Fresher’s Fair events at universities across the UK. As part of our Student Roadshow, we accompanied Gamcare and Ygam to visit several local universities, speaking to over 600 students and staff members. Visits to Leeds and York University were particular highlights, and our colleagues at Ygam spread the GAMSTOP word further afield with trips to London, Bournemouth and the Midlands. The Roadshow was an excellent opportunity to have conversations with students about gambling-related harm and highlight the free tools and support available to them if they find themselves or a loved one struggling.
