EURO 2024 Awareness Campaign

The EURO 2024 tournament drew to an emotional close for England fans, with Spain lifting the trophy after a tense final – but for those struggling with gambling, major sporting events like EURO 2024 can be an especially difficult time.


GAMSTOP ran a social media campaign throughout the competition to ensure that people are aware of the benefits of self-exclusion. After the final, we launched a further campaign for football fans who may want to take back control of their online gambling now that the tournament has ended.

Ahead of the EURO 2024 semi-final, CMO Katie Reynolds-Jones spoke to the press about warning signs which may point to a loved one struggling with gambling, such as changes in mood and social withdrawal.
